Understanding Our Refund Policy
Modern Metal Academy offers refunds in specific situations, such as:
Accidental duplicate charges
Being charged after cancelling on time
Technical billing errors
Failed membership activation
Platform access issues preventing use
Refunds are not typically issued for:
Forgetting to cancel before renewal
Change of mind after successful access
Using the membership and requesting a refund after the fact
Trial renewals that were not cancelled before the trial ended

Duplicate or Incorrect Charges
If you see two charges on the same day or an unexpected amount:
This may be a duplicate payment
It may also be a pending authorisation that will disappear after 24–48 hours
Or your bank may have retried a failed payment
To confirm, contact support and include:
The last 4 digits of your card
The date of the charge
The amount shown
A screenshot of the bank statement (optional but helpful)

I Was Charged After Cancelling
If you cancelled your membership and were still charged:
Make sure the cancellation was completed before the renewal date
Check your cancellation confirmation email
Ensure you cancelled on the correct account (email addresses sometimes differ)
If you cancelled on time, we will provide a refund.
Contact support and include your:
Email address
Renewal date
Screenshot (optional)
Payment Failed but I Was Still Charged
Sometimes banks show a pending charge even when the payment fails.
This is not an actual completed payment and will usually drop off automatically within a few days.
If the charge fully processed, contact support so we can investigate.
Card Charged During Trial
If your trial ended and you were charged:
This is expected behaviour
Trials automatically convert to paid memberships unless cancelled before the trial ends
If the trial was not cancelled in time, refunds are not normally issued but you can contact support and we’ll review your case.
Missing Access After Payment
If you paid but do not have access:
Refresh your dashboard

If the issue continues, contact support and we will activate your access manually.
Bank Declined the Payment
Payments may fail because:
Your card expired
Your bank blocked the charge
The card doesn’t support international payments

How Long Refunds Take
Once approved:
