You can change your Modern Metal Academy membership at any time. This article explains how to upgrade, downgrade, and what to expect depending on the type of plan you currently have.
How to Upgrade Your Membership
Upgrading gives you immediate access to all features included in the higher plan.
To upgrade:
Go to your membership access page:
https://app.modernmetalacademy.com/your-accessSelect the plan you want to upgrade to (for example, from Ignite to Masters Monthly or Masters Annual).
Complete the checkout.
In most cases, you will only be charged the difference between your current plan and the higher plan.Your new features unlock as soon as the payment is processed.

How to Downgrade Your Membership
Downgrading reduces your access to the features included in the lower plan.
To downgrade:
Visit your membership access page:
https://app.modernmetalacademy.com/your-accessChoose a lower-tier plan (e.g., Masters → Ignite).
Confirm the change.
Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
You will retain full access to your current plan until the renewal date.
Legacy Members and Special Offer Plans
Some older plans, discounted offers, or promotional memberships cannot be changed through the self-service billing page.
If you are on a:
legacy pricing plan
promotional membership
limited-time discounted offer
early adopter plan
special launch bundle
You will need to contact us directly to change your membership or by another membership and cancel your current membership.
This is because older or custom plans may not be compatible with automatic upgrades or downgrades.
Support can update your plan manually and ensure the correct pricing is applied.
