If your card has expired, your payment failed, or you simply want to switch to a different payment method, you can update your billing details directly inside your Modern Metal Academy account.
This article explains how to update your payment method and what happens afterward.
Go to Your Billing Settings
You can update your payment method here:
https://app.modernmetalacademy.com/your-access
Log in if prompted.
This page displays your:
Current membership plan
Renewal date
Payment method
Billing history (in some cases)
Add or Update Your Payment Method
Inside the Billing section:
Click Update Payment Method
Enter your new card details
Save the changes
Your updated card will be used for all future renewals.
What Happens After You Update Your Payment Method?
After updating:
Any failed payment will automatically retry
Your membership should reactivate instantly once the charge succeeds
You will regain access to any content restricted due to failed billing
If the system doesn’t retry automatically, contact support and we can process it manually.
Why Did My Payment Fail?
Common reasons include:
Expired card
Insufficient funds
Bank security blocks
Using a card from a restricted region
Temporary bank errors
Updating to a new or verified card usually resolves the issue.
Can I Switch Between Monthly and Annual?
Yes.
Plan changes (upgrade/downgrade) must be done from your membership options, not through the billing page.

Troubleshooting Payment Method Updates
If the payment form won’t load or keeps failing:
Try a different browser
Switch to Google Chrome (recommended)
Disable browser extensions
Try on mobile instead
Refresh the page
Clear your browser cache
