No Self-Promotion
To keep the focus on learning and progress:
Do not post direct links to your YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, Instagram, or other channels.
If you want to share a song or riff, upload the video directly to the Lounge with NO Watermarks.
External profile links can be added to your MMA member profile, but posts should not be promotional.
This keeps community posts relevant and avoids turning the Lounge into a promo feed.
No Spam
Spam includes:
Repeated posts
Irrelevant or off-topic content
Excessive link sharing
Posting automated or commercial content
Only post material that contributes to the community.
No Racism, Sexism, Harassment, or Abuse
Zero tolerance policy.
This includes:
Racist, sexist, or discriminatory comments
Bullying or intimidation
Insults or hostile behaviour
Harassing messages via Live Chat or direct replies
Any behaviour that makes the community unsafe will result in removal.
External Links Allowed Only When Relevant
You may share a link only if it directly supports the discussion.
For example:
A link showing a guitarist performing a technique being discussed
A video referencing a concept from a lesson
A resource another member asked for
Do not share external links for self-promotion or unrelated content.
Be Kind and Supportive
The community thrives on mutual encouragement.
Please:
Acknowledge others’ progress
Offer help when you can
Celebrate improvements, big or small
Avoid negative or dismissive comments
Everyone is at a different stage of their journey.
Respect Everyone’s Learning Journey
Constructive criticism is welcome.
Dismissive negativity is not.
Good feedback example:
“Try tightening the rhythm around beat 3, it will make the groove stronger.”
Unhelpful feedback example:
“This sounds bad.”
“Your tone is awful.”
“That riff is terrible.”

Off-topic posts may be removed if they clutter the space.
The live chat can be more off topic as that is more 'general discussion'
No Illegal Content or Piracy
Do not share:
Pirated music
Illegal downloads
Cracked plugins
Unlicensed tabs
Copyrighted material without permission
Keep all shared material legal and respectful of creators.
Respect Privacy
Do not share:
Private messages
Other members’ personal information
Screenshots from private conversations
Email addresses or payment info
All private information must remain private.
No Excessive Language or Explicit Content
Moderate language is acceptable, but posts or comments that are intentionally offensive, sexual, or explicit will be removed.
Moderation Rights
Moderators may remove posts or restrict access for:
Breaking rules
Repeated negativity
Disrespecting other members
Ignoring staff instructions
